Religious Education:
Let us pray for all students returning to school. Our Religious Education program begins soon—late & FINAL registration will be held this Monday through Wednesday, August 11–13, from 10 AM to 4 PM. We’re also still in need of catechists. If you’re able to help, please contact Jackie at the parish office.
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
Sessions for this year for people interested in becoming Catholic will begin Sunday, August 10th. OCIA is also necessary for any baptized Catholic who may need to complete additional sacraments like Confirmation. Any practicing Catholic who may desire to form a deeper understanding of the faith is also encouraged to participate.
If a friend, colleague or family member is known to you or may have expressed interest in coming into full communion with the Church, please invite them to sign up.
The sessions are held on Sunday mornings at 11:30 am until 1 pm in the ministry Room of the Family Life Center. Please contact the parish office or Deacon Gerard at gcouture@charlestondiocese.org to sign up and obtain additional information.

Come Join the Cub Scouts!
OLH Cub Scout Pack 139 will begin meeting for the 2025-26 school year on August 12, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
If you are a boy or girl in grades K5 through 5th, or between the ages of 5 years and 10 and a half years, we would love you to come join the Cub Scouts! We will continue to meet at 6:30 PM in room 218 of the Family Life Center every Tuesday.
We are starting a Boy Scout Troop!
If you are a boy at least 11 years of ages outdoors and you are interested in seeking outdoor adventures, we invite you to come join Boy Scout Troop 139 for our first meeting of the 2025-26 school year. We will have our first meeting on August 12, 2025 at 6:30pm in room 218 of the Family Life Center.
When it rains, it pours… FOOD! Huge thanks to our amazing parishioners for showering our St. Vincent de Paul food pantry with love and generosity in response to our emergency food drive. You make this ministry shine!
