Fr. John Murray, CSsR will be traveling through Columbia this week.
We are going to have a drop-in for him on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 6:30pm in the atrium of the Family Life Center. Everyone is invited. Please stop by and say “hi” he would love to see you!
Children's Room
The children’s room is always open; however, all children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (teens are not considered adults). The lesson materials and Mass set are available for creative play, but we ask that all items be returned to their proper place after use. Please also ensure that art supplies are handled with care and used appropriately so that everyone may enjoy them.
Little Rock Scripture Study
It is time to restart the Little Rock Scripture Study for the 2025-26 Religious Education year. This year we have chosen a new study called “ Encountering the God of Faith Hope and Charity in the Bible “. We will begin on Wednesday September 10 at 6:15p in room 105 in the FLC. If you have never tried a Bible Study before or have been away from one for awhile come and see if this one is for you everyone is welcome. For more information or to reserve study materials please call Paula Mistoler the facilitator at 803 238-8913.
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
Sessions for this year for people interested in becoming Catholic will begin Sunday, August 10th. OCIA is also necessary for any baptized Catholic who may need to complete additional sacraments like Confirmation. Any practicing Catholic who may desire to form a deeper understanding of the faith is also encouraged to participate.
If a friend, colleague or family member is known to you or may have expressed interest in coming into full communion with the Church, please invite them to sign up.
The sessions are held on Sunday mornings at 11:30 am until 1 pm in the ministry Room of the Family Life Center. Please contact the parish office or Deacon Gerard at gcouture@charlestondiocese.org to sign up and obtain additional information.

Sala de Niños
La sala de niños está siempre abierta; sin embargo, todos los niños deben estar acompañados y supervisados por un adulto (los adolescentes no se consideran adultos). El material de las lecciones y el juego de la Misa están disponibles para el juego creativo, pero le solicitamos que todos los artículos se devuelvan a su lugar correspondiente después de su uso. Asimismo, asegúrese de que los materiales de arte se utilicen con cuidado y de manera adecuada, para que todos puedan disfrutarlos.
Estudio Bíblico Little Rock
Es momento de reiniciar el Estudio Bíblico Little Rock para el año de Educación Religiosa 2025-2026. Este año hemos elegido un nuevo estudio titulado “Encontrando al Dios de la Fe, la Esperanza y la Caridad en la Biblia”. Comenzaremos el miércoles 10 de septiembre a las 6:15 p.m. en el salón 105 del FLC. Si nunca ha participado en un estudio bíblico o ha estado ausente de uno por algún tiempo, le invitamos a venir y ver si este es para usted; todos son bienvenidos.
